The plums are washed, the seeds are removed and cut into quarters. Put them nicely arranged in a 25/35 cm tray lined with baking paper and put them in the oven on the right heat until the dough is prepared.

Beat eggs whole with sugar until they double in volume, then add in turn, milk, oil, baking powder, flour and vanilla essence. Pour over the plums in the pan and put in the oven until it turns brown. Turn over, so the plums will be on top, and powder with vanilla sugar after it has cooled.

Put the yeast to leaven with a little warm milk, sugar and leave for a few minutes. The remaining milk is heated with margarine, mixed with leavened yeast, flour, egg yolk, salt. Knead an elastic dough that is left to rise, hot for 30 minutes. Spread a sheet in the pan on the stove greased with butter and lined with flour and let rise for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, peel the apples and plums. Put slices of apples and plums over the dough sheet.

Mix the cream ingredients, ie butter, powdered sugar, flour and vanilla sugar and spread (harder :)) over the fruit.

  1. Grease the baking tray with butter and powder with sugar removing the excess.
  2. Mix the flour with the almond powder, the baking powder and, separately, rub the eggs with the sugar.
  3. Over the egg cream add the yogurt, oil, stirring after each one. Add the flour mixture and mix well. Pour into the pan, evenly distribute the slices of plums and bake for 30 minutes. Powder with sugar.

Useful advice

✽ Wash the plums and dab them with a paper napkin, so that they do not have any water on the skin when you bake them.

✽ Cut the plums in half and sprinkle a little brown sugar with cinnamon inside. The cake will taste better.

✽ Allow the cake to cool completely and harden before cutting into slices. You can serve it with a portion of chocolate ice cream or with a spoonful of whipped cream on top.
